We are looking for: MSc students (6 month minimun period) developing their research (or looking to develop) in areas related to the biological sciences (plant biology, molecular biology, phytopathology, biotechnology and/or similar) with emphasis on grapevines. Applicants will have the opportunity to work in laboratory and/or vineyards.
Some of the research topics currently being developed are:
- Development and implementation of early disease diagnosis of the grapevines based on PCR and classical microbiology (viruses and wood fungi).
- Development and implementation of molecular markers for clonal differentiation in grapevines.
- Development and implementation of techniques of biological control and strengthening of plant material through the use of beneficial microorganisms.
- Development and implementation of techniques for cleaning plant material through in vitro techniques.
The projects are presented as an opportunity to develop as a thesis or grade memory in collaboration with universities.
